Owl or lark?
Dependant on your biological chronotype, you are likely to either be a ‘lark’ or a ‘night owl’. Larks need more sleep on the whole and have the most energy in the morning, when they tend to rise early. Whereas night owls need less sleep overall but prefer to stay up and rise much later.

Our circadian rhythms are our internal body clocks which run in 24hr cycles and determine whether we feel alert or sleepy. We aren’t born with synchronised circadian rhythms; it takes around 3-4 months for newborns to get into the rhythm of day and night.
